The UCC3818A is a BiCMOS power-factor preregulator implementing average-current-mode control for continuous-conduction-mode (CCM) boost PFC. It operates from 6 kHz to 220 kHz and features enable, overvoltage protection (OVP), a 100% maximum duty cycle and 10.5 V/10 V UVLO thresholds, rated 0 C to 70 C. It is used in AC/DC front-end PFC stages for power supplies.
